What inspired you to enrol for the first edition of the digital marketing bootcamp?

Way back in 2014 my main goal was to increase my following as a DJ, explore the power of social, develop my personal brand and boost our record label ‘K101 Music’. I remember reading about Malta’s very first 5-day Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing bootcamp and knowing it was exactly what I wanted. Super fun practical learning over just five days with fab networking.

How would you describe your ICE Malta Study Experience?

The ICE Malta team has a ‘students-first’ mentality, teaching industry skills is their expertise. They are extremely well organised and very supportive. Years after the Diploma I had the opportunity to enrol for more digital marketing training and I was impressed at how consistently great the study experience is.

Which career path did you embark on?

Over these last years, I have worked hard to position myself as an in-demand real estate agent and I am now also the proud franchise owner of Quicklets branches in both Naxxar and Mosta. Real estate has proven to be extremely rewarding, challenging and a brilliant career choice for my type of character.

How have your digital marketing skills helped you progress?

Digital marketing is vital for real estate agents. These essential skills and the industry insight I have gained during training help me to create content-rich, cost-effective posts which attract and retain clients. Also, I have found digital marketing to be extremely helpful for recruitment too. Anyone in real-estate needs to have solid digital marketing skills⁠—that’s a fact.

Years later you enrolled for a custom designed bootcamp exclusively delivered for you and your colleagues. What were the takeaways from this experience?

The Quicklets and Zanzi teams enrolled for a custom designed digital marketing bootcamp which was tailor made exclusively for our real estate agents and franchise owners. It was practical, fun, full of valuable insight and above all, it gave us the instant results we were looking for. During the course, we built our own professional online profiles, explored methods to engage with prospective clients on social media, discussed the power of video and created a number of effective campaigns which continue to position us as leaders in the property industry until this very day. Most importantly, as this training was exclusively for us, we could discuss online strategy freely with the industry expert delivering the course⁠—that was priceless.

What is the secret to career success?

I have learnt that success is a journey, not a destination. Constant learning is crucial and one must invest in their own personal growth – the ROI when you dedicate time to learning is incredible.

And finally, an inspirational message.

Fear and failure are both parts of our journey to success. If you are failing, then it means you are slowly learning to succeed. If you are afraid, then it means that you’re pushing yourself hard. When you reach rock bottom, know that the only place to go is up and finally, business is a game⁠—if you work hard, you’ll win.
