Discusses the regulatory environment, common elements across jurisdictions and strategies for aligning compliance with organisational strategy. - Module 4: Data assessments
Relates practical processes for creating and using data inventories/maps, gap analysis, privacy assessments, privacy impact assessments/data protection impact assessments and vendor assessments. - Module 5: Policies
Describes common types of privacy-related policies, outlines components and offers strategies for implementation. - Module 6: Data subject rights
Discusses operational considerations for communicating and ensuring data subject rights, including privacy notice, choice and consent, access and rectification, data portability, and erasure and the right to be forgotten. - Module 7: Training and awareness

Certified Information Privacy Professional - Europe (CIPP/E) Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) |
Both the CIPP/E and CIPM exams are 150 minutes long (2.5 Hours) and consist of 90 multiple-choice questions. The passing score for each exam is 300 out of 500. Exams should be scheduled within 12 months of course commencement. Should a candidate fail their first exam attempt, they would be able to re-take the exam within 30 days. Exams are delivered on the international Pearson VUE Testing System and the result is made available straight after the exam session. Upon successful completion, students receive a digital copy of the certificate by email within 3 weeks.
Funding
Students following the GDPR Ready Professional study programme can apply for the Get Qualified Scheme which will enable them to benefit from a tax credit of 70% of the costs incurred (i.e. €2,095 will be refunded back for this course).
