A group of students from INSEEC Business School of Paris have recently completed a four-week training course held at SmartCity Malta.

The course aimed at providing the participants with the necessary knowledge to start up and manage a company or a project in Malta.

The students, who are currently completing their Masters degree and also work as apprentices in companies such as IBM Paris or SNCF – the French National Railway Corporation, chose their projects which included the organization of an event as well as the design, development and deployment of a website to support the same events. At the end the projects were evaluated by a judging panel made up of both Maltese, Italian and French professionals.

The Institute of Computer Education was appointed to provide training in Website Design and Development to this group of French Students.  Throughout the course, students were equipped with the essentials for each and every stage of the web design and development process. Some of the projects developed by students during the course can be seen by following the links below.

Upon completion of the course, MFCC administrators stated that they are “…very satisfied with the final outcome of all the projects, the students worked very hard and overcame the challenges of managing a project in a country different to theirs…”
