After completing the MySuccess Website Designer Associate course Jurgen enrolled for the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing. Here’s why.
Why did you enrol in the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing course?
After gaining web design skills at ICE Malta and diving deeper into the graphic designer path I knew that the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing was a great next step because it would strengthen my positioning as a top talent in the creative sector and would give me the ability to build or communicate about every aspect of a brand’s online presence.
Why is it important for anyone working on web design to have a solid understanding of digital marketing?
When you have the knowledge and skills to create engaging websites, gaining digital marketing skills are beneficial because they help you to not only position yourself as a more powerful candidate for career growth but also enable you to understand how a brand’s online strategy will be implemented – this insight is very valuable for a creative talent entrusted to design engaging and intuitive websites that drive results. Also, having digital marketing skills helps to create stronger collaborations between team members focused on different areas of a company’s online presence.
Which part of the online live study experience did you enjoy the most?
The fact that the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing is delivered online live is great because this meant that I didn’t have to commute between home/work and class, I could simply switch on my computer a few minutes before the lesson – I saved so much time.
What are your career goals for 2021/2022?
My career goals are aligned with my learning aspirations because I know that the more in-demand skills I gain the faster my career will grow. This year I would like to dive into UX/UI Design, it’s a subject I’d really love to master.
Your message for young talent aspiring to join the iGaming industry.
It is so important to find a career that makes you happy. It is never too late to gain new skills and ICE Malta will make it easier and convenient for you to level up. Everyone’s goal should be to find happiness in what they do on a daily basis, therefore motivation is key.
UI/UX is next on Jurgen’s learning list and we can’t wait to welcome him to ICE Malta for another online live study experience which will give him the opportunity to continue to celebrate more career milestones in the years to come.
