LeoVegas handpicks ICE Malta talent. Meet Estevan.
Estevan Cutajar has been one of ICE Malta’s rising stars for a while. He’s got the eye for detail, raw talent and a sense of style which creatives crave. He swiftly shifted from the technical to the creative path because he wanted to transform his passion for design into a profession and scored a cool creative career at iGaming company LeoVegas.
What did you like most about the ICE Malta Study Experience? 
ICE Malta educators are at the heart of the study experience because they are industry practitioners with a deep passion to mentor and empower students. The fact that they are in key positions at award winning companies means that they have the industry insight and expertise to prepare students to be industry ready. Their teaching methodology is motivating, inspiring and students leave each class energized.
What is the secret to career success?
It’s super important to have an all-round positive approach and push yourself out of your comfort zone. Stay humble, don’t fear failure and focus on learning even from the tiniest mistakes. Never let anyone discourage or stall your drive and aim at having a good work/play balance. Give yourself time to travel, enjoy your hobbies and celebrate your success.
What’s next for you?
At the moment I’m focusing on my full time job. In my spare time, I love learning, keeping up-to-date with all that’s happening in the design world and discovering ways to push my talents even further. Other than that I’m always constantly counting the days for my next travel adventure.
What’s your message to students? 
It’s never too late. You can shift your career any time you want. Constantly learn and never set limits for yourself. ICE Malta has loads of worldwide recognised industry study programmes to choose from and the team will help you get started and support you throughout your learning journey.
The sky’s the limit for this ICE Malta alumni. Estevan has designed a career he loves and has established himself as a talented team player, a curious creative and a student for life. We’re sure we’re going to be seeing more of Estevan in the coming months and can’t wait to continue to support him throughout his learning journey.
