From Computer Technician to Senior IT Systems Specialist in less than 24 months. Meet Kurt.
When he was young, ICE Malta alumni Kurt Briffa wasn’t a big fan of school. Quite frankly, he didn’t even have high career aspirations. However, he was determined to make his family proud and secure a spot in the fast-moving world of ICT. He had the grit and the drive to figure out where his talents lie and craft a learning journey which would help him climb the career ladder. In less than 24 months, Kurt has climbed the career ladder fast and is now entrusted to manage the complete internal IT infrastructure of fast-growing iGaming brand Raketech. Here’s his inspiring story.
What did you like most about your ICE Malta Study Experience?
I consider ICE Malta to be my home for ICT learning. The fact that teachers are industry experts makes all the difference. They share valuable insight, practical examples and real-world scenarios which are extremely important and make learning more interesting and fun. You say that your learning journey at ICE Malta made you industry-ready. How?
I completed six courses at ICE Malta so I am definitely committed to my learning journey. Courses such as CCNA and MCSA aren’t just valuable certificates to add to one’s CV – they’re game-changing practical study programmes which open doors to the ICT arena.
What is working at Raketech like?

What is your message to students?
