Digital marketing skills to build ClubHouse Europe. Meet Matthias.

18-year-old Matthias Buttigieg enrolled for the Diploma in Digital Marketing bootcamp because he wanted to build massive momentum for ClubHouse Europe and gain these crucial in-demand industry skills before kicking off his learning journey at the University of Malta. This budding entrepreneur has big dreams, loves world-class learning, and is one to watch. This is his story.

Why were you driven to gain digital marketing skills in 2020?
I wanted to achieve this industry recognised certification to prove that I was capable and had the in-demand industry skills to take the ClubHouse Europe brand to the next level. I always loved the digital marketing lifestyle – the opportunities that it presents and the responsibilities it brings. This diploma has opened a lot more doors for me and I know that more opportunities are on the way. I wanted to start my learning journey at the University of Malta with the Diploma in Digital Marketing under my belt – and I managed to achieve my goal.
This wasn’t your first course at ICE Malta, why is learning important to you.

I really believe in the power of learning – apart from the Diploma in Digital Marketing I also completed the Photography course which was just as amazing. Thanks to ICE Malta I have gained skills, insight, and knowledge which have led to my attracting new clients and making new connections.

ClubHouse Europe is building momentum fast – how have digital marketing skills helped grow this brand?
Together with the team, we have achieved incredible results since our launch. The digital marketing skills I have gained have helped me pitch strong strategy ideas and goals with the marketing leaders at ClubHouse Europe.
Since the Diploma in Digital Marketing, how has your social media performance improved?
Dramatically is the simple answer. Here’s a quick example. For one particular recurring Instagram campaign that I am also working on I managed to increase the audience reach by 300%. This performance increase is common across multiple initiatives thanks to the skills I have gained in the Diploma in Digital Marketing course.
What is your favourite part of the ICE Malta Study Experience?
The great insight and in-depth knowledge which I gained across all digital marketing channels were brilliant. We were taught by an industry expert who made learning fun and shared real-life examples and case studies which really triggered us to apply all that we were learning faster. Although the exam is quite long (3 hours), the flexibility of sitting for an exam whenever you wish is great!
What’s next for you and ClubHouse Europe?
The journey at ClubHouse Europe is amazing and I look forward to providing more value both locally and internationally to ClubHouse Media Group and all our clients. On a personal note, I will continue to gain new skills so that I can progress in my selected path faster. My goal is to be one of the youngest entrepreneurs, change-makers within the tourism, business, and management sectors.
A message to young talent who are thinking of taking the leap and following their dreams.
Do not let anything stop you from doing what you love! Always work hard, dream big and be patient. Results will follow. Never give up.
