Summer plans for children aged 8-12 now launched

For the third consecutive year, the ICE Malta team will be welcoming children between the ages of 8 and 12 for the Summer 2014 Semester. ‘Our academic team has been working on the design of our programmes for children of this age bracket for the last months – as one may assume, designing study experiences for children is more difficult and time consuming and requires the same level of attention and expertise as worldwide recognised certifications. Children need to enjoy their learning experience, have fun while learning while parents need to have the peace of mind that their children are taken care of and are enjoying a unique study experience, have access to the latest technology, are under the guidance of Malta’s finest educators and industry practitioners and study in the best classroom environments. Thanks to our community of educators joining us for Your Classroom. Their Future conferences and our visits to local private, public and church schools we are confident that our Summer programme will give children an opportunity to learn in a fun way.’ Nikolai Sammut explained

The highly expected Robotics and Kodu courses will be offered to students between the ages of 8 and 12 while students will also be encouraged to participate in competitions, meet ICE Malta MySuccess champions and design their future study paths based on the subjects they love ‘At this tender age students need to start exploring with Creative, Coding, Games and Technical aspects of IT and start understanding what they enjoy most and what their strengths are. In the coming years ICT will be integrated in the majority of subjects students study, and therefore it is essential for students to be able to relate to IT and use all tools available to enjoy an effective study experience’

Parents who are interested in learning more about Robotics and KODU classes starting in July 2014 as part of the ICE Malta Summer Semester are invited to fill in the form below and organize a visit to the institute.
