ICE Malta Photography students and social media friends are encouraged to participate in Malta’s Ministry for Tourism photo competition entitled ‘A perspective of the Maltese Islands through Photography’.
‘As part of the ICE Malta Study Experience we constantly encourage and design initiatives to help students build their portfolio and show-reels, which is essential for any creative individual to have. Apart from being a prestigious opportunity and the chance to win some fantastic prizes, we’re proud to promote the Ministry for Tourism’s competition as photos will be judged by an esteemed panel of professionals from the Malta Photographic Society while the winning photos will be will be printed and exhibited in Auberge d’Italie, Merchants Street, Valletta. ICE Malta educators will be sharing competition news with our October Semester students while we will continue to promote this competition and give updates on the institute’s social media pages’ Nikolai Sammut, director of ICE Malta explained.
Photo Competition themes include architecture and buildings, aviation, feasts, festivals and traditions, Gozo, local crafts and gastronomy, scenery and beaches, sports and leisure. The overall winner, will receive Return Flight Tickets for 2 Persons to any scheduled destination serviced by AIR MALTA plus a Weekend Break for 2 Persons while the overall runner up will win a 1 week stay for 2 on full board basis in a suite at the Intercontinental Malta.
