ICE Malta proud sponsors of Code.SprintMT 2019

For the second consecutive year, ICE Malta is the exclusive learning partner for the island’s national coding competition Code.SprintMT, a Java coding challenge designed for secondary and post-secondary students. The competition is organised by The Directorate for Learning and Assessment Programmes (DLAP) at the Ministry for Education & Employment.

Coding helps students with communication, creativity, math, collaboration, and confidence – it teaches them logical thinking which is considered to be fundamental learning in this era of education. We’re pleased to note that this second edition is even bigger than last year and we’re grateful for ICE Malta’s support.

– Josmar Borg, Education Officer (Computing).

Besides meeting with other coding enthusiasts, sharpening their competitive edge and getting feedback from expert code educators, the top three participants will win world-class study programmes and mentorship at ICE Malta.

As Malta’s leading ICT Academy it is our duty to deliver 21st-century learning which is aligned to industry demands. Code.SprintMT is a wonderful initiative and one we are very proud to support.
