ICE Malta announces an exclusive campaign celebrating Code Week 2019.
As part of the eSkills Malta Foundation Summer Coding Bootcamp and this year’s Code Week celebrations, ICE Malta will be launching a very unique opportunity designed to drive absolute beginners to learn the foundations of code using the world’s current most popular and powerful programming language – Programming Basics with Python Workshop. Thanks to an investment in learning by eSkills Malta, 25 coding enthusiasts have the opportunity to enrol for world-class learning at a minimal investment of just €25.
For this year’s Code Week celebrations our Industry Advisory Council recommended Python because it’s easy to use, powerful, and versatile, making it a great choice for beginners to get a taste of the world of coding. Thanks to our world-class study experience which is entirely focused on practical learning we’re excited and proud that students enrolled for this class will shift from writing their first few lines of code to building a fully functional programme in less than six hours – this is the secret of industry driven learning.
– Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta’s Co-Founder.
Stack Overflow’s 2019 Developer Survey confirms that Python is the fastest-growing major programming language. Furthermore, it is the most wanted language for the third year in a row, meaning that developers who do not yet use it say they want to learn it.
Python is great as a first language because it is concise and easy to read, while it is also a good language to have in any programmer’s stack as it can be used for everything from web development to software development and scientific applications. We are proud to support ICE Malta’s innovative initiative and we are eager to welcome our first group of students.
– Carm Cachia, eSkills Malta Foundation’s Chief Administrator.
Prospective students eager to enrol and benefit from this subsidised fee of €25 are invited to confirm their enrolment online or get in touch with the ICE Malta Admissions Team for further details.
