Almost a year after being titled Malta’s Innovative Entrepreneurs 2013, the ICE Malta founders are excited to share a wonderful initiative launched by Malta Enterprise entitled ‘Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs’
‘One of our biggest advantages is that while we can share past experiences with other budding entrepreneurs we can also talk about what we, as founders of a leading ICT institute, are going through presently, on a day to day basis – our vision for our institute, challenges, concerns as well as how we intend on turning our plans into reality. When Malta Enterprise approached us to share details about Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs we were very eager to share this opportunity with our students and social media followers. “Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs” is a project financed by the European Union which aims at helping aspiring entrepreneurs to acquire relevant skills for managing and growing a company by working with an experienced entrepreneur in another EU country for 1 to 6 months. The programme will give locals an opportunity to learn from an experienced entrepreneur in another EU country, practical and financial assistance such as match making induction before going abroad, logistical and local support during the stay, and a European Union grant to assist with the travel and subsistence costs during the stay abroad. Successful candidates will develop international connections and knowledge about foreign marketing, benefit from possible co-venturing opportunities and the development of cross border markets, gain insight into a different cultural and organisation setting and workplace.
Together with Malta Enterprise, ICE Malta will be hosting a number of information sessions about this opportunity. ‘This is a perfect opportunity for many of our students especially those who have just completed their MySuccess study path at the institute.
