Why everyone needs to learn HTML & CSS. Meet Jurgen.
He’s the Head of Design & Social Media Manager at Mango Gaming and craves gaining new skills which will help him and his brand reach the next level of success. This talented go-getter enrolled for the MySuccess Website Designer Associate course because HTML and CSS have become essentials we all need to conquer. Meet Jurgen.
Why did you enrol for the MySuccess Website Designer Associate course?
Regardless of what your profession is, HTML and CSS are great skills to have, they’re essentials. At Mango Gaming I am given the opportunity to put my hands on deck and elevate my skill-set through practical work experience, so my goal was to learn HTML and CSS to apply my new skills to real-world work tasks and have the flexibility and insight to be a stronger team player.
What’s working in the iGaming industry like?

This is a fast-moving industry so we’re constantly learning, growing and adapting which means there’s never a dull moment here. The fact that Mango Gaming is a start-up is immensely attractive as rather than just focusing on one specialisation I get challenged with multiple tasks on a daily basis. Furthermore, the environment is fun and flexible, and I believe that flexibility is the key to enhanced productivity so put simply, working here is awesome.

Which were your favourite ICE Malta Study Experience features?
Gaining in-demand industry skills at ICE Malta is a great idea as investing in yourself is the best decision you can make. Apart from being an interesting course, my learning journey was enjoyable. At ICE Malta students are encouraged to ask questions and are challenged to dive deeper into their selected path through practical learning. The team are very friendly and helpful – they make sure that you’re supported throughout.
In your opinion which 21st learning skills are fundamental irrespective of what industry you’re in?
Knowing HTML & CSS and having solid foundations in digital marketing and graphic design skills have become essential no matter which career path you’d like to embark on. These are the skills industry players expect you to know so at one point or another if you want to excel and progress you have to gain them – the earlier the better.
Do you consider yourself to be an all-rounder or a specialist? What are the benefits?
I consider myself to be an all-rounder and mainly it is because I love to be included in a complete project rather than just managing a small part. Furthermore, now that learning is part of my lifestyle every day is a brand new opportunity to gain new skills, share new insights with my colleagues and continue to work towards strengthening our brand.
Jurgen has an appetite for world-class learning and that’s a guarantee that this ICE Malta student will continue to level-up, progress and make us proud. We can’t wait to celebrate his next success very soon.

At ICE Malta students are challenged to dive deeper into their selected path through practical learning. Awesome learning.
