She’s now the Social Media Marketing Specialist at Casumo. Meet Geraldine.

Apart from all the perks of working for leading iGaming brand Casumo, the Professional Diploma in Digital Marketing graduate Geraldine Bartolo shares that she loves developing this brand’s success together with fantastic, like-minded colleagues who strive to achieve greater things for themselves and the company they proudly represent. This is her story.

Where do you work and why is your selected career rewarding?
I’m part of the Casumo team. My career is rewarding because I can see and measure the impact of my work immediately. I also like the fact that I can understand what is effective and what can be improved in real-time.
How did the Diploma in Digital Marketing course help you level-up/progress?
The Diploma in Digital Marketing was a great course that provided me with a clear understanding of all the digital marketing functions and how they tie in together. It was very hands-on so I could apply what I learnt right away, which made it a valuable learning experience.
What part of the study experience did you love the most?
I loved the way in which the examples presented during the lectures added context to our learning, making it easy to apply these new insights to my work-tasks.
Why is continuous learning essential in the iGaming arena?
I strongly believe that continuous learning is essential for any industry. In competitive industries such as iGaming, keeping abreast of current trends and developments can put you in a strong position and differentiate you from what is a very saturated market.
Where do you see yourself in two years’ time?

I see myself building on my current knowledge and mastering social media marketing across multiple markets and channels.

What’s your message to talent who aspires of joining the iGaming industry?
Work hard, invest in learning, continue to respectfully challenge why things are done a certain way and treat the company you work for as if it were your own.
