ICE Malta student joins Stargate Studios Malta. Meet Jonathan.
ICE Malta Alumni Jonathan Caruana’s statement gives us the chills because it is a 100% testimony of just how powerful the ICE Malta Study Experience really is. Jonathan who walked into ICE Malta with outstanding raw talent, determination and a dream, achieved his aspirations and now spends his days working on projects for Netflix, Rai and a number of popular foreign TV series together with the Stargate Studios Malta team.
What was your favourite part of the ICE Malta Study Experience?
I really enjoyed our time in class because every lesson was a gathering between friends who were all driven and passionate about game design, specifically – 3D Modelling & Animation. Gaining the industry skills and mastering techniques, tools and tricks which made us more agile was key. We were empowered to share ideas, collaborate and dive into constant practical work. It was amazing.
What was ICE Malta’s Creative Student Showcase all about?
The Creative Student Showcase was an opportunity for me and my fellow students to present our work to top industry leaders. Apart from having fond memories of this competition because I had won first prize, I really appreciated this initiative because it gave us the confidence to share our talents with the people who could really open doors for us.
What is your message to students?
Just go for it. Discover what your talents are and find a way to turn that into a career. There are endless opportunities, the sky’s the limit and thanks to the ICE Malta Study Experience nothing is impossible.
We are certain that Jonathan Caruana will continue to make us proud. His real-life story is motivating and proves that with the right attitude and support all students have the chance to turn their career aspirations into reality.
