What inspired you to invest in your learning journey?

My two-year learning journey has been very rewarding. Currently, I have achieved certifications in Python, LPIC-1 and CCNA and I have the prestigious MCSA SQL certification on its way. Looking back, at the age of 7 I was already interested in how computers work. Years later I was thinking of enrolling at University however instead I decided to follow my passion for IT. When I first settled in Malta, my first job was a Machine Operator at ST Microelectronics – the bus used to pass by ICE Malta and I always felt like one day I will be coming to your classrooms.

What did you love most about your study experience?

I had set up a meeting with Daniel with ICE Malta’s Admissions team and I loved everything he told me from the way you guys deliver the lesson to the state of the art classrooms. Studying long term at ICE Malta has been an incredible journey and has changed me from the core. I can say that you guys have delivered even more than what was I expecting. The courseware is excellent in fact, I find myself looking into the notes from school more often then googling when I have a problem at work.

Where are you working now?

I managed to get a job in IT and I have the skills and knowledge that the industry needs. I am currently working as a Software Support Technician at Progressive Consulting and Information Systems, my responsibility is mainly programs called “Lightspeed” and ‘iKentoo’ which are very neat programs for restaurant management. I have started working here around the time I was attending LPIC-1 course and hope to stay here as long as I can.

What is your advice to students who are thinking of changing their path?

Studying at ICE Malta is the best move I have made in my life and I am so happy I did it, my life would not be the same without you guys. Anyone who chooses ICE has made the right choice. The learning journey with you guys is a lot of fun yet it’s also important to mention that if you want to succeed you have to study hard. I had many sleepless nights however, when I look back I have achieved so much and it’s been very rewarding.
