ICE Malta’s ‘skydiver’ John Scerri and ‘movie magic’ student Jonathan Caruana are ICE Malta’s Creative Student Showcase top two students. During a two hour event, were industry leaders, tutors, Malta Enterprise representatives, the press, and special guest Minister of Finance, Economy and Investment, Dr Tonio Fenech celebrated what was quoted to be ‘a fantastic opportunity for students to share their creativity with world renowned industry leaders’, and ‘an exciting time for Maltese students to share their creativity and passion with the world of top creatives’.   

‘This was an exciting day for the ICE Malta team. We are extremely proud of all our students and encourage them to continue to show the dedication, commitment and passion they have shown during the course duration and the process of this competition. Together with Malta Enterprise we are also extremely content with the feedback we have received from our creative industry guests and judges who shared great enthusiasm and also hand picked a couple of our students and are requesting to see more work from their collection. Finally, special thanks to our panel of judges, in particular Carlos Fernandez who visited our islands especially for this event’ Nikolai Sammut, principal of ICE Malta commented. 

My Paul Taylor, CEO of TRC called the student’s work ‘impressive’ and also pinpointed some of his favourite work while other guests also showed particular interest in some of the show-reels presented.
