As part of ICE Malta’s commitment to continue to encourage students to consider a career in ICT, the ICE Malta team welcomed Form 4 and Form 5 students to the institute for an ICT career presentation and to give details about the Summer Semester timetable and ICE Plus.

‘Our open doors policy was designed to encourage students to get to know more about the various ICT subjects and career paths available. Students should chose subjects that they are passionate about – be it creative or technical. This will ensure that they start to build a strong portfolio and achieve worldwide recognized certifications at an early stage. While it’s always great to welcome parents and students to ICE Malta, we love welcoming school groups and teachers  for our Study ICT Experience  and enjoy sharing the importance of hands on practical experience, small classrooms to ensure one to one attention and of course the importance of have access to the latest technology and equipment during all ICT lessons’. Nikolai Sammut explained

The 2013/2014 semester includes a scheme designed for Form 4 and Form 5 students attending private, public and church schools. All students attending a 2013/2014 course including Summer courses, receive a 50% cash back on any of their chosen courses. ICE Plus is ICE Malta’s commitment to further investment in ICT education.

Verdala students had the chance to watch a visual presentation about ICT courses and career paths, ask questions and learn more about course content and meet one of ICE Malta’s Creative Student Showcase winners Jonathan Caruana, who shared his personal story, ambitions and dreams with the students. ‘We’re very proud of Jonathan’s talents and achievements and consider him to be a true ICE Malta ambassador’ Mr Sammut concluded.
