Summer Discovery Courses backed by MeDirect, Malta’s first digital bank.
ICE Malta is proud to announce the return of its highly anticipated Summer Discovery Design & Code Courses, with MeDirect, the homegrown digital bank, being this year’s brand partner.
Young talent aged between 15-18 will have the chance to attend Online Live classes designed to help them acquire hands-on skills in programming and digital content creation. Both courses lead to EQF/MQF Level 5 certification and also feature an exclusive visit to the MeDirect offices at Tigné Point, where students will be able to see the code and design skills they have learned being applied in a real-life industry context.

Delivered by inspiring educators with industry expertise, both courses cover a wide-ranging and detailed curriculum in an engaging and collaborative learning experience designed specifically for teens aged 15-18. Code students can flex their problem-solving muscles with Python, Game Development, Machine Learning and AI. The Design Discovery Course, on the other hand, covers the cornerstones of content creation through Graphic Design, Video Editing, and Digital Marketing. The tech and design skills featured in both courses are a highly in-demand staple for the modern workforce.
The classes conclude with two exclusive sessions hosted by MeDirect, granting students a behind-the-scenes glimpse into real-world industry settings where they can observe their learned skills in action by MeDirect’s design and code teams. These final sessions also serve to help students start thinking about the potential career paths their talents and interests may lead them towards.
