Your chance to design for Isle of MTV 2013 and Air Malta
As part of ICE Malta’s ongoing efforts to give students a fantastic study experience including practical experience, the possibility of applying for internships and taking part in competitions and building a unique creative portfolio, the ICE Malta team constantly looks out for opportunities to encourage their students to take part in. This season, ICE Malta has confirmed their support for Air Malta’s national creative competition for one of the island’s biggest events – Isle of MTV 2013.
‘These competitions are a great opportunity for students to show their creative talent and shine! Apart from the prestige of winning and seeing your design printed on thousands of TShirts and signed by international stars, it’s a great achievement to include on your CV and to show in your portfolio. Students creative work will go down in the history of Isle of MTV so we encourage our students to take part and sincerely thank Air Malta and Isle of MTV for giving this opportunity to Malta’s creative talent ‘ Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta’s director of studies explained . “This competition offers the opportunity for designers to express themselves and have their designs communicated to a wide audience. Through this initiative Air Malta will also be expanding its Corporate Social Responsibility program and supporting YMCA.” Stephen Gauci, head of Corporate Communications at Air Malta concluded. The Competition
Air Malta & Isle of MTV have teamed up to produce an official event TShirts which will be on sale before and during the show. Proceeds from sales of these T-Shirts will go to YMCA Malta. The design selected will get full credits and a colleciton of TShirts to give to your friends! In addition some of these T Shirts will be signed by the international artists performing at the event this year! The 5 runner up ideas will also be auctioned off to raise money for YMCA Malta
The design challenge
AirMalta and Isle of MTV want you to design a Line drawings in 1-colour which convey the following message: ‘Music and Arts supporting the plight of the homeless’
