 This Saturday, 8th December 2013 at 1.00pm the ICE Malta team together with the Malta Linux User Group are giving you the exclusive opportunity to come to our institute and try out Linux as well as get a tour of our ICT labs, meet tutors and book your 2013 ICT courses.  

  • 13:00 – 13:30: Gathering, where you can try out several Linux distributions in fully-equipped computer labs.
  • 13:30 – 14:00: Presentation by Malta Linux User Group on experiences in running Linux and a brief history of Linux and open-source software.
  • 14:00 – 14:30: Presentation by ICE Malta’s certified Linux Professional Institute lecturer on Linux topics, and presentation by ICE on Linux and other courses they offer.
  • 14:30 – 15:30: Move around and roam! Try out Linux in our computer labs, have Linux installed on your machine, get free Linux discs and enjoy refreshments courtesy of ICE Malta. There will also be running videos throughout the event which you can drop in and watch.
  • New! – Get a chance to try out a cool Raspberry PI!
