ICE Malta wins the national Cisco NetRiders championships

ICE Malta Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching students Daniel Sammut and Kurt Briffa, have successfully passed on to Round 2 of this year’s prestigious Cisco NetRiders 2016 championships and will now be representing the Maltese islands in the next competition phase which will be held on Thursday 26th May 2016. Kurt Briffa has been declared this year’s national champion.

We’re proud that once again, our students, Kurt Briffa and Daniel Sammut are Malta’s ambassadors for this international competition and have moved on to Round 2 where only the top twenty students who achieve a minimum of 70% will have access to the third and final round. Once again, thanks to ICE Malta’s ISO 9001:2008 Study Experience, our local talent will be supported and we will do our best to ensure that they are well prepared and confident to take the next challenge. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta Co-Founder.

ICE Malta is host institute for this prestigious competition which gives thousands of students from all over the world the chance to compete with other Cisco students and showcase their skills and immense talent. Maltese students compete with individuals from other European countries as well as the Russian Federation and CIS. Over the last three years, Malta’s talent has achieved notable results including the 2013 results were ICE Malta student Ryan Chetcuti won the competition and was invited to visit the Cisco Headquarters in California. In the following years, local talent placed in the top three and top ten rankings respectively. ICE Malta students continue to achieve the highest academic results year after year and students as well as ICT professionals select Malta’s leading ICT Academy as their preferred training partner.
