ICE Malta secures 2 out of 20 places in the Cisco NetRiders 2015 Finals.

Celebrating the best Cisco NetRiders 2015 success to date, ICE Malta student Pavel Roth has been titled Cisco NetRiders 2015 Mediterranean Champion in Round 2 of this prestigious international competition and has placed in the Top 20 list together with ICE Malta student Melchior Vella.

Both, will be representing Malta as national champions and have advanced to Cisco NetRiders 2015 Round 3 championships which will be held on Tuesday 2nd June where they will sit for a 60minute virtual exam and a 15 minute WebEx session.

This year’s competition has proven to be the most challenging yet as students from Europe, Russian Federation and CIS where challenged to compete in three intensive competition sessions, and had to not only rank, but achieve a minimum score to be able to advance to next round. In the case of Round 2, both Pavel and Melchior topped the Cisco charts and scored 70%+ entitling them to move on to the highly anticipated Round 3 of this competition with the chance of winning an all expense study trip to Cisco California.

All eyes are on ICE Malta students as they secure 2 out of 20 places in the Cisco NetRiders 2015 Finals. This is by far not only a great success for our institute but also for our islands. We would like to congratulate all students who have participated in Round 2. Once again this competition continues to show that ICE Malta study experience leads to international Cisco success’  – ICE Malta’s General Manager Geoffrey Caruana conclude.
