Gamers.com.mt gives hundreds of gaming enthusiasts the opportunity to take their passion to the next level, to challenge one another competitively, to attend networking events specifically focused for gamers and win great prizes and ICE Malta is proud to be one of their main supporters year after year. The majority of gamers are ICE Malta students who have completed a number of study programmes such as Cisco CCNA Routing & Switching, MySuccess Game Designer, MCSA Windows Server 2012, so this year we’ve decided to take our collaboration to the next level. We firmly believe that the major industry players have some great experiences to share with Malta’s gamers and our students and we’re eager to introduce some of the world’s finest brands to our local talent during the highly anticipated jam packed weekend of events. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta’s Director explained

Jak Marshall Games Analyst for Exient Malta who is a lead analyst on Angry Birds Go, will be delivering the first workshop which will focus on the ‘free to play’ business model. This twenty minute session will give prospective developers a set of ‘killer questions’ that they can ask themselves before they commit to the development of their game. More workshops will be launched in the coming days while full event details may be viewed here.

I’m sure that all of the designers attending this talk can make a good game. My talk will help make sure that those designers make a good game that people actually end up playing and make sure that those designers can take home some real money. – Jak Marshall, Exient Games Analyst.
ICE Malta has always understood our vision and strategy for our collection of eSports events and has believed in our potential from the very beginning.
