ICE Malta joins forces with Privasee & IAPP to launch a collection of accredited GDPR courses.

ICE Malta is proud to announce the launch of an exclusive collection of GDPR courses which include worldwide recognised certifications accredited by IAPP which is the largest, most comprehensive global information privacy community, as well as online and classroom training developed by learning partners Privasee and endorsed by a Syllabus Advisory Council made up of Data Protection Officers representing some of the world’s prestigious brands including If plc, Klarna, Sobi and Capgemini.

ICE Malta’s GDPR collection of courses includes three accredited study programmes – Privacy & GDPR Foundations, Privacy & GDPR Practitioner and IAPP’s Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) study programmes which ensure that individuals gain the insight and skills to confidently understand, implement and abide by GDPR regulations.

During our 5th anniversary celebrations, we shared our internationalisation plans and our intention to launch a collection of eLearning courses which would guarantee that individuals and corporate teams have the opportunity to up-skill online, learn on their own schedule, experience optimal learning and enjoy the same high quality world-class study experience ICE Malta has been delivering over the last five years. We’re proud to announce that this milestone has now been reached. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta Director.

Starting May 2018, GDPR will affect any business holding personal data on customers, prospects or employees based within the EU, and businesses must ensure that their staff are trained. For this reason Malta’s leading ICT Academy has teamed up with Privasee to develop a basic Privacy & GDPR Awareness Online course which is considered to be mandatory training for all individuals dealing with data, across all departments within a company. This thirty minute simple-to-use interactive e-learning programme introduces the new GDPR and is intended to provide individuals the background and principles of privacy and data protection.

As a leading ICT academy headquartered in the Maltese islands, we are committed to continue to set new benchmarks for both classroom and online learning and encourage, inspire and motivate individuals to invest in their learning journey. We are proud to welcome IAPP and Privasee to our ever-growing portfolio of learning partners. – Matthew Castillo, ICE Malta Director.

The full collection of Privacy & GDPR courses will be announced on the ICE Malta website and social media channels in the coming days. In the meanwhile, prospective clients are invited to fill in the form below to keep updated with the latest Privacy & GDPR Training news.
