ICE Malta celebrates ‘Girls in ICT’ at Sacred Heart College.
The ICE Malta Academic Team will be hosting a number of ‘Girls in ICT’ inspirational workshops at selected private, public and church schools in the Maltese islands.
“ICE Malta has been an ambassador for Girls in ICT for three years and we’re proud to be the only ICT Academy in the Maltese islands to have included this important initiative in our CSR programme. During our forty five minute sessions, our Academic Team gives young teens an overview of all subjects within the ICT spectrum including Code, Creative, Technical and Productivity paths. Essentially, we want to encourage students to design a personalized study path based on the subjects they love and their career aspirations. Ultimately our message is that when it comes to talent, gender doesn’t make a difference, there are no restrictions or limitations. Leading brands want to employ the finest talent – be it male or female. The ICE Malta team works hard to empower students and show them the infinite amount of opportunities ICT brings not just within the ICT arena but its relevance in all career paths. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta Co-Founder commented.
The ICE Malta team will be meeting Sacred Heart College Senior School students on Wednesday 18th May 2016.
