The ICE Malta team are truly keeping their brand promise of keeping their students ‘one step ahead’ and have received accreditation from their world recognized certification partner to encourage their 2012/2013 creative students to participate in the prestigious 2013 Adobe Design Achievement Awards.
The 2013 Adobe® Design Achievement Awards were created to inspire higher education students from around the world to be creative and kick start their design career. The international contest is open to all individuals age 18 years or older who are students of ICE Malta (The Institute of Computer Education, Malta) or faculty in an accredited institution of higher education.
‘After the great success of ICE Malta’s Creative Student Showcase launched with the support of Malta Enterprise, we continued to confirm opportunities offered by our acclaimed vendors to encourage students to participate in international contests where they can showcase their talent, win attractive prizes and attain recognition on a global scale. The ICE Malta Creative Student Showcase was a true celebration and truly portrayed our students’ exceptional talent and skills and our accreditation for the Adobe Design Achievement Awards is another unique and prestigious competition under our belt which we are extremely proud of. The participation of either individual or group work is not only fantastic publicity for our students but also continues to position Malta as an ICT centre of excellence and creativity. Media segment grand prize winners will receive Adobe software, a cash prize of US$3000, mentorship, and an invitation to participate in the 2013 IDA Congress in Istanbul, Turkey – a memorable experience to meet creatives from all over the globe and truly kick start their career’ Nikolai Sammut, director of ICE Malta explains.
Past and present ICE Malta students attending Web Design, Web Development, Illustrator, InDesign, Graphic Design, Video Editing, Photography, Photoshop and Flash are encouraged to participate.
