We’ve become seasoned participants in the Cisco NetRiders edition and year after year our team takes this competition extremely seriously. We understand the incredible impact this competition can have and our past winners have celebrated notable success. Back in 2013, ICE Malta student Ryan Chetcuti competed against 10,000 students from all over the globe and placed first, and every year we work to achieve the same results which while being quite a feat are not impossible. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta Co-Founder.

Malta’s first Cisco NetRiders Champion Ryan Chetcuti was handpicked by Cisco to join their team and is now working at Sky TV. Chris Demicoli who placed second is working for one of the world’s fastest growing iGaming companies – Gaming Innovation Group. Year after year ICE Malta students have continued to position Malta as a hub for Cisco talent and this year will be no exception.

During Round 1, ICE Malta students not only stole all five of the allocated places for our islands yet ranked high in the first qualifier and are now on their way to Round 2. Words can’t express how proud we are and needless to say we will be mentoring Malta’s five champions to build their stamina for what is expected to be a challenging round. – Nikolai Sammut, ICE Malta Co-Founder.

This year’s Round 1 results don’t come as a surprise for the ICE Malta team as the official Cisco results once again confirm that ICE Malta students achieve the highest Cisco academic results on the islands. (List of Finalists).
