  • Oversee and manage all financial transactions, including fixed payments, variable expenses, bank deposits, and budgets.
  • Conduct audits of financial documents and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Reconcile bank statements, identifying discrepancies and taking appropriate actions to rectify any errors.
  • Calculate tax payments accurately and submit tax returns within designated deadlines, following relevant tax regulations and laws.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data, analyse trends, and provide insights for informed decision-making.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and forecasts to management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
  • Continuously monitor financial transactions, identifying potential risks and implementing controls to mitigate them.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes affecting financial operations.
  • Accounting qualification (ideally a CPA)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong financial skills, with the ability to identify key business drivers and their impact on results
  • Ability to think on your feet, try new approaches and bounce back when things don’t go your way
  • Proficiency in software packages and reporting tools
  • Outstanding communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Efficiently manage duties using structured and organised methods with little supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Maltese
  • Collaborative team player with a natural affinity for teamwork
