The Stack Overflow Developer Survey Report is based on a survey of 101,592 software developers from 183 countries around the world. Yep, this report is legit.

is the most wanted language for the second year in a row, meaning that it is the language that developers who do not yet use it most often say they want to learn. Python has a solid claim to being the fastest-growing major programming language.
